FAQs
So what is LabMark3D?
In essence, it is just a person with a 3D printer, a knack for practical designing and a want to fill the gaps left open by big companies.
What do you design and sell?
The specialty is mainly labware with a penchant for flow cytometry. However, there is no problem with jobs outside of this space, just contact me for a consultation.
Do you do custom designs?
Not everybody can design in CAD or has any inclination of learning to do so, So yes, I can and will design things for you. I am open to free consultations on what you exactly need done.
How long will it take for me to receive my print?
Depends on a few things. Simple prints such as holders, bins and the likes can print quickly and be shipped quickly. More complicated prints such as the scope can take a lot longer since those also require parts that need to be ordered and customized which means I am also dependent on those 3rd parties’ stock.
It’s all plastic, it has to be cheap and flimsy right?
Actually no. With 3D printing you have total control over the quality and thickness of prints, pair this with the way I (over)design objects which tends to be with thicker walls and more structural support and you end up with objects that are sturdy and able to take some punishment. These prints are not cheaply made and with normal usage will last a long time.
